Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has sold 10 lakh units of SUV Bolero since its launch in 2000, almost 18 years ago.
The model has also claimed the position as the third most sold SUV in the country. Since its launch, Mahindra Bolero had managed to hold on to the position of India’s highest selling SUV for 10 consecutive years.
Apart from being a popular model by Mahindra, which is eminent from the 2 million followers on their Facebook page, the model is also a favourite among the paramilitary forces.
The launch of the Bolero Power+ has also lead to a steady growth of the brand, in spite of several new launches in the market.
Vijay Ram Nakra, M&M Chief of Sales & Marketing of Automotive Division announced the news to the press, stating that Bolero has regained its position in the list of top 10 passenger vehicles in India, which he sees as a validation from the brand’s loyal customers.
