It isn’t just the car lovers who wait for Auto Expo; there are also those who are crazy about the thrill that comes from riding a bike. The auto enthusiasts are eagerly looking forward to seeing what new concepts the automakers have come up with. They can’t wait to try out the new bikes that will be launched in the market. And keeping this in mind, I am going to bring you a list of bikes that are going to be launched this year.
Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS
The latest Pulsar variant that Bajaj has come up with is 150cc bike Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS. Pulsar 150 NS is most likely to be powered by an excellent performance 4-valve, SOHC liquid cooled engine with a triple spark ignition technology which will ensure better performance regarding torque and power. The bike will also feature a rear disc brake.
Bajaj Dominar 200
This 200cc, 6-speed detuned engine which will offer better mileage. Being a newer entry to the Dominar series (Bajaj Dominar 400), it is expected to be favored by a vast audience. It will give a maximum torque of 16Nm and power of 21PS.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750cc
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750cc is likely to produce a power output of 50bhp and 60Nm of torque which is 30-35% more than the torque generated by the existing model. With the launch of Himalayan 750cc, Royal Enfield is hoping to blur the gap between cruising and off-roading.
Royal Enfield Bullet Electra
This 346cc engine is likely to output 22bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 30 Nm at 4000rpm. The engine will come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It will be one of the most awaited bikes on display at Auto Expo.
TVS Apache RR 310-based Racer
TVS has come up with RR 310 which will have a 310cc single-cylinder engine which is developed by BMW and is the third bike to share the same engine. The bike will have a 6-speed gearbox designed to produce output more than 30bhp and torque of 28Nm. When launched, it will most probably be the fastest and most expensive bike to be introduced.
Honda XRE 300
This bike, when launched, will be a dual-sport motorcycle that will be powered by an air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder. It has 291 cc engine which will produce 25bhp power and 27.6 Nm of torque. Also, the engine is mated to a five-speed transmission.
BMW G 310 R
The bike features a 313cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The engine develops a maximum power of 34bhp at 9500rpm and produces a peak torque of 28Nm at 7500rpm. The bike is manufactured by TVS but is engineered by BMW at their facility in Munich, Germany.
Ducati Panigale V4
Panigale V4 is the first Ducati motorcycle that is equipped with a 4-cylinder engine, similarly designed to the Desmosedici of the MotoGP. The power output obtained is 214hp at 13000rpm, and the torque is 124Nm at 10000rpm.
Benelli Imperiale 400
Benelli uses a 373.5cc single-cylinder fuel injected engine that produces 19bhp at 5500 rpm and 28Nm at just 3500 rpm. Its main competition will be Royal Enfield which also deals in retro-styled motorcycles.
Kawasaki Z900 RS
The Z900 RS has a 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, DOHC, 16-valve, liquid-cooled engine which produces a displacement 948cc. The bike produces a power of 110bhp and a maximum torque of 98Nm. This bike is one amongst many to watch out for during Auto Expo.
